THE PIT: CODE OF CONDUCT

1. SOLIDARITY IN CHAOS

ThePit.online is an independent, raw, and high-energy social network dedicated to extreme music, underground art, and counter-culture. We embrace heavy aesthetics, intense music, and aggressive creative expression. However, there is a strict line between subculture aggression and real-world malice. We function on a core underground ethos: Pick up your people. Respect the floor.

2. THE FLOOR RULES (REQUIRED BEHAVIOR)

To maintain an open-source space free from corporate censorship, members must regulate themselves and respect the baseline safety of the network:

• Support the Underground: Use this space to uplift artists, share music, coordinate local event travel, distribute physical media, and foster authentic peer-to-peer connection.

• Look Out for Each Other: If a member is struggling, treat them with basic human dignity. We are a community bound by solidarity; do not leave people broken on the floor.

• Own Your Presence: Take responsibility for what you post, what you build, and how you interact with other crews, bands, and site members.

3. IMMEDIATE EJECTION (ZERO TOLERANCE)

Certain actions actively compromise the infrastructure or safety of the network. Committing any of the following will result in an immediate, permanent account nuke with no warning or appeal:

• Targeted Harassment & Doxxing: Do not use this network to target, track, threaten, or systematically harass any individual. Dropping real-world private identification data (doxxing) will get you banned instantly.

• Hate & Discrimination: There is no room for bigotry in our pit. Targeted attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or gender identity will be met with immediate removal.

• Corporate Spam & Scams: The Pit is built for humans, not bots. Malicious phishing links, commercial advertising networks, token spam, and algorithmic scam scripts will be purged by administration on sight.

• Exploitation & Malicious Code: Uploading malware, attempting to inject malicious scripts into the open-source framework, or targeting the site's database structure is strictly forbidden.

4. THE MEDICAL BOUNDARY (PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY)

• Not a Medical Entity: Let’s keep it straight: This is a social space, not a medical clinic. ThePit.online is a peer-to-peer social platform meant for creative expression and community connection. We are NOT a healthcare provider and do not possess HIPAA compliance or medical oversight capabilities.

• Protect Your Health Data: Do not upload confidential medical records, Protected Health Information (PHI), or sensitive health documentation to the wall, groups, or comments. Any personal life struggles or health experiences you choose to discuss are completely public within the scope of your profile visibility settings and are shared at your own absolute risk.

5. PIT ENFORCEMENT & MODERATION

The site administrators and designated moderators retain full authority to enforce these rules to protect the digital ecosystem:

• Content Pulldowns: Moderation teams reserve the right to remove wall posts, comment threads, images, or group assets that violate this Code of Conduct.

• Account Freezes: Accounts suspected of running automation scripts or participating in targeted attacks may be temporarily frozen pending administrative review.

• Permanent Ban: Violating the zero-tolerance rules will result in your IP address and account architecture being permanently banned from the framework.
