1. ACCEPTANCE OF THE FLOOR (AGREEMENT TO TERMS)

By creating an account, accessing, or using ThePit.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to every rule laid out here, do not enter the site. This is a community-driven, independent space built for counter-culture solidarity—respect the infrastructure or leave the floor.

2. ELIGIBILITY & USER ACCOUNTS

  • Age Requirements: You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use this platform.

  • Account Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility.

  • Identity: While we celebrate subculture pseudonyms and scene names, you may not impersonate other real individuals, artists, or organizations in a malicious manner.

3. CONDUCT IN THE PIT (USER CODE)

We operate on a simple principle: Pick up your people. Respect the floor. Solidarity in chaos means looking out for the community. The following behavior will result in an immediate and permanent ban:

  • Targeted Harassment & Bullying: Do not cross the line from aggressive subculture aesthetics into genuine personal tracking, targeted harassment, or threats of real-world violence.

  • Illegal Content: Do not post, link to, or distribute pirated software, malware, or content that violates intellectual property laws.

  • Spam & Scams: This site is for raw, peer-to-peer connection. Commercial spam, bot networks, malicious links, and phishing attempts will be nuked immediately.

4. THE MEDICAL & HIPAA GATE (CRITICAL DISCLAIMER)

  • No Covered Entities: Let’s keep it straight: ThePit.online is a public social network, not a clinic. This platform is strictly a peer-to-peer social space meant for communication, event tracking, and underground subculture networking.

  • No Protected Health Information (PHI): We are NOT a healthcare provider or a covered entity under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

  • Your Own Risk: Any personal stories, life struggles, or mental/physical health experiences shared within the feed, groups, or comments are public within the scope of this network. Do not upload confidential medical records or protected health data. You process and share all such information completely at your own risk.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONTENT LICENSE

  • Your Content: You retain full ownership of the text, music, photos, and videos you upload to ThePit.online.

  • Our License: By posting content on our open-source network, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, cache, and display your content to other users within the platform framework.

  • Takedowns: We respect creators. If you believe your copyrighted work has been uploaded without permission, notify the site Administrator immediately with proof of ownership for a swift takedown.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & WARRANTY

This site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." The operators of ThePit.online make no guarantees that the network will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure from external vulnerabilities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform administrators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the site or the behavior of other members.

7. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

We reserve the right, without notice and at our sole discretion, to terminate your account or block your access to the platform if we determine you have violated these terms, disrupted the community infrastructure, or compromised the safety of the network.

8. CHANGES TO THE AGREEMENT

The subculture evolves, and so will these rules. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the timestamp at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the platform after updates constitute your acceptance of the revised floor rules.
